Basic Job Functions:
Entry-level position to provide a career path into a commissioned Sales Associate position.
Will spend 4-7 months training both in-house and in the field.
Includes Inside Sales and Vacation Relief.
Once trained, job functions will include the following:
Maintain customer base and range of products while increasing the size of the territory and developing new accounts.
Call on existing customers to get orders.
Present new and creative menu ideas to the customers.
Perform customer collections to keep their accounts current.
Seek new accounts by calling owners and managers to establish contacts.
Represent the company to customers in all aspects of the sales and distribution process.

Core Requirements:
Some college or equivalent experience.
Food Industry knowledge preferred.
Good negotiation and presentation skills.
An ability to organize, prioritize workload, and work independently.
Solid communication and customer service skills.
Experience using a laptop computer.
In addition, candidates must be able to demonstrate how they communicate effectively, work well with others, have productive work methods, exercise sound judgment and display initiative and innovation on the job.
