While iced tea is popular all year long, it's synonymous with both spring and summer. Capitalize on the warm seasons with monthly iced tea specials. Not only can you menu iced tea beverages to customers of all ages in the dining room, iced tea makes the perfect base for bar signatures. Try serving these summer sizzlers.
- The Old Fashioned
Pour non-sweetened chilled iced tea over ice and garnish with a wedge of lemon. Serve sugar on the side, or use sweetened tea instead of non-sweetened tea. For bar menus, muttle an orange, lemon, and cherry with sugar and a dash of bitters. Add ice, vodka and iced tea.
- Grape Ape
Add a dash of grape juice to iced tea and garnish with lemon, lime, orange and peach wedges. Top with a splash of club soda. For bar menus, add vodka and a splash of chambord. Top with a splash of club soda and serve, or shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.
- The Russian
Add a dash of allspice, cinnamon, and ground cloves to dry mixture when making perfectly blended iced tea. Serve over ice and garnish with a cinnamon stick. For bar menus, add vodka.
- Mango Tango
Add a splash of orange juice to a glass of iced tea. Shake slightly and garnish with an orange twist. For bar menus, add orange-flavored vodka.
- Sour Ball
In the bottom of a glass, muttle a lemon, lime, sweet and sour mix, and a small amount of sugar. Add iced tea and shake vigorously. For bar menus, add a lemon-flavored vodka.
- Einsteiner
Combine apple juice and ice in a bar shaker. Top with iced tea and shake vigorously. Strain over ice and garnish with apple slices. For bar menus, add vodka.
- Peach-Pie
Add a splash of peach juice to a glass of iced tea and garnish with peach slices. For bar menus, add peach-flavored vodka.
